Chem-Free Sunscreen SPF 30 is formulated for sensitive and normal skin types, as well as children. Utilizing micronized zinc oxide, a non-chemical sunscreen, and a rich blend of free radical quenching antioxidants consisting of liposomal vitamins A, C, and E. Chem Free Sunscreen SPF 30 provides maximum broad spectrum protection against environmental elements such as sun and pollution. Chem Free SPF 30 is an essential part of treating pigmentation problems. It has a lightweight, greaseless feel, and is oil free. A dry, invisible barrier forms moments after application to provide a perfect base for make-up.
The active sun blocking agent is Micronized Zinc Oxide. It is classified as a "non-chemical" sunscreen agent because it does not react or absorb the sun's UV rays as occur in traditional chemical sunscreens. Zinc Oxide reflects the sun's UV rays away from the skin. The micronized form of Zinc Oxide is a very fine powder. This allows for the formulation to be lightweight and sheer. Without this process, these chemical sunscreen agents become thick and chalky.
